AL Resources and Integrali Ltd were successful trading companies dealing in all grades of ferrous and non-ferrous scraps.
Tandom acquired the assets and premises of FE Mottram Ltd – one of the largest aluminium ingot producers in the UK.
Tandom Metallurgical (Midlands) Ltd is formed to manage and grow the international trading within the group.
Tandom Metallurgical Group begins a significant investment programme, doubling the size of the Congleton site, purchasing new furnaces and pollution handling system.
Installation of induction melting to produce master alloys.
